Whether it’s a scorching hot summer, or a wet season when rivers rage, Missouri float trips are the best thing to do with your family or friends. And what better way to experience the clear, pristine waters of the Huzzah River, Meramec River, and Courtois creek but in the beautiful, 396-acre Huzzah Valley Resort?
Huzzah Valley Resort offers a variety of Missouri Float Trips. You and your family can choose from canoes, tubes, kayaks and rafts. A lazy day down the Ozark waters is the best way you and your family or friends can bond, laugh over things and just simply enjoy the Missouri scenery.
Canoeing
down the Ozark waters is perhaps one of the most famous forms of Missouri float trips with the family. Canoe rentals cost an affordable $22 from Sundays to Fridays, and $24 for Saturdays. This rental is inclusive of cushions, paddles, life-jackets, and transportation. Huzzah Valley Resort also offers an ultimate canoeing package wherein you can stop by the campground for lunch, and canoe your way to the Ozark waters for the rest of the day.
Rafting, on the other hand, is a great recreational activity for families with small children and groups who want to stay together. Sunday-Friday rates are $29 per person and $14.50 for children 12 years old and below, while Saturday rates are $35 per person and $17.50 for children. The rental includes paddles, life-jackets, cushions, hauling of the rafts and transportation. Fret not about the safety of Huzzah Valley Resort’s rafts because they are made of a virtually-indestructible nylon-lined rubber.
Huzzah Valley Resort pioneered the fun kayaking session in the Ozarks. Kayaking, like all the Missouri Float Trips, are safe, stable and fast. If you’re a neophyte to kayaking, you don’t have to worry because you can surely kayak down the Huzzah River or Courtois Creek with ease. If you have an extra person who cannot board your raft or canoe, then kayaking is a perfect activity to count him in. There are available couples’ kayaks as well. Sunday to Friday rentals cost $28, while Saturday rentals cost $ 30.00.
Want to take a stroll down memory lane? Relive your childhood days with Inner-tubes, which are similar to the floatables you use down the river when you were young. You can enjoy a day of lazy floating at either the Huzzah River or Courtois creek for as low as $10.00 per day.
With a variety of Missouri Float trips to choose from in the beautiful Huzzah Valley Resort, you need not think twice about where to spend your vacation. Enjoy the picturesque Ozark scenery here now.
